Psalm 25 David: David is the author of Psalm 25 as we’ve just read. And David sinned. As we all know, his most egregious sin was committed with the wife of Uriah. He committed adultery with her and arranged for the murder of her husband. And with those two sins committed David found himself guilty of two sins that really called for his death.
David didn’t die. But he experienced numerous problems, trials, and difficulties that must have felt like death to him. His first baby with Bathsheba died. His children went on to commit rape, incest, murder, arson, and national insurrection that brought about a civil war.
Yes, this David sinned. And through the inspiration of God he now presents to us How to Pray After You’ve Sinned.
